In this role, Amber will spearhead initiatives to enhance organizational development, employee belonging, and strategic talent programs, fostering a thriving, high-performing culture aligned with Cohesity’s mission of delivering modern data management solutions.
Amber joined Cohesity in August 2024 as Senior Director, People Experience, where she led programs focused on talent development, organizational culture, and employee engagement. Her contributions have been instrumental in shaping the company’s reputation as a great place to work.
Prior to joining Cohesity, Amber spent nearly a decade at VMware, holding leadership roles such as Vice President, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and Senior Director, HR Business Partner. At VMware, she developed global DEI strategies, impacting over 40,000 employees across 60 countries, and played a pivotal role in driving leadership engagement and talent strategy.
Amber also served as a Senior Consultant, Organization Transformation at Deloitte, where she specialized in strategic change management and DEI initiatives for corporate clients. Earlier in her career, she contributed to Catalyst, Inc., managing corporate partnerships to advance diversity and inclusion efforts across industries.
