Toronto, Ontario, Canada, October 2024 – Amina Ali has been promoted to the role of Chief People Officer at Waves, where she will lead the company’s human resources strategy, overseeing talent management, organizational development, and fostering a strong corporate culture. Amina’s leadership will be critical in aligning human capital with the company’s growth initiatives.
Prior to her promotion, Amina served as the Director of Human Capital at Waves for over a year, where she managed key HR functions and contributed to the development of personnel leadership strategies. She played a pivotal role in optimizing human capital processes that supported the company’s operational growth.
In addition to her role at Waves, Amina has also been the Chief Operating Officer at CRM MVMNT since January 2024, further showcasing her diverse leadership experience in operational and human resource management. Before that, she founded HC Consulting, where she has been aiding business development through human capital optimization since 2017.
Amina’s experience also includes her tenure at Tundra Technical Solutions, where she served as the Senior Consultant – Talent Development and the Global Training Delivery Lead, building her expertise in global talent strategies and training development.
Her career started in various roles, including positions at York University and Bell Media, where she honed her skills in sales, sponsorship, and talent development, setting a strong foundation for her HR leadership journey.
