New Delhi, Delhi, India, April 2025 – Amit Gupta has taken on a new role as Executive Group Vice President at Motilal Oswal Private Wealth Limited. In this role, he will lead the strategic initiatives for wealth management and private banking across key markets, bringing his vast experience in investment advisory and relationship management to the forefront of MOPW’s operations.
Prior to joining Motilal Oswal, Amit Gupta served as Regional Investment Counsellor – North and Vice President at Deutsche Bank, where he was responsible for heading the investment business in North India for approximately one year. He played a pivotal role in advising high-net-worth clients and leading investment strategy across regional teams.
Before that, he held several key leadership positions at Deutsche Bank over a 16-year tenure, including Vice President and Area Head – Gurgaon and Noida and Regional Investment Advisor – North. His contributions spanned business development, team management, wealth advisory, and strategic planning, making a significant impact on the bank’s private banking success in North India.
Earlier in his career, he worked at ING Vysya Bank (now Kotak Mahindra Bank) as Assistant Vice President – Private Banking, where he built a personal AUM book of over ₹100 Crores, focusing on HNI client acquisition and wealth solutions. He also served at Standard Chartered Bank as Manager – SME Banking, where he successfully created a loan book exceeding ₹80 Crores.
Amit started his journey in financial services with Cholamandalam Distribution Services Ltd and RR Financial Consultants Ltd, where he managed institutional sales and investment banking mandates, respectively.
