Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, April 2025 – Amit Jain has taken on a new role as Chief Executive Officer at Aditya Birla Renewables Limited, bringing with him over three decades of leadership experience across renewable energy, oil & gas, and infrastructure sectors. In this role, he will spearhead the company’s next phase of growth as it expands its footprint across solar, wind, battery storage, and emerging clean energy technologies.
Prior to this appointment, Amit Jain served as the Global CEO at Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy for nearly four years, where he led the company’s international operations and growth strategy from Dubai. Under his leadership, the company made significant strides in new markets, building a strong renewable energy portfolio globally.
Before that, he held multiple leadership roles at Punj Lloyd Limited for close to two decades, including Country Head positions in Qatar, Oman, and Central Asia, where he was responsible for billion-dollar project portfolios in oil and gas infrastructure. His deep operational experience spans project execution, P&L management, and business development across geographies including Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Georgia, and India.
Amit started his career at ABB SAE SADELMI and RPG Transmission Limited, where he built expertise in business development and tendering. Over the years, he has developed a strong track record of delivering complex infrastructure projects, building strategic partnerships, and leading large multicultural teams.
