Amit Sharma appointed as Vice President – Power Products and Digital Energy Business, Greater India Zone at Schneider Electric

Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, November 2025 — Amit Sharma has been appointed as Vice President – Power Products and Digital Energy Business, Greater India Zone at Schneider Electric. With over 28 years of experience in the energy and automation sector, Amit will oversee the P&L operations and serve as a member of the India Management Team, leading innovation, sustainability, and digital transformation across the region.

During his 15-year journey at Schneider Electric, Amit has held several key global leadership positions, including Vice President – MV AIS Activity & India League, and Vice President – Marketing & Digital Transformation for the Medium Voltage Line of Business in Grenoble, France. His strategic leadership has been pivotal in advancing Schneider Electric’s initiatives in SF6-free green technologies, digital energy systems, and product innovation aimed at a sustainable future.

Before joining Schneider Electric, Amit had an illustrious career of nearly 14 years at ABB, where he served in multiple leadership capacities including Vice President & BU Head for Medium Voltage Switchgear and Apparatus businesses. His role at ABB was marked by significant growth, operational excellence, and business expansion in the Medium Voltage component and OEM markets.

Amit’s vast experience in marketing, product development, and business strategy has contributed immensely to the global energy management ecosystem. In his new leadership role, he is expected to reinforce Schneider Electric’s vision of sustainable growth and accelerate the adoption of smart, digital, and energy-efficient technologies across India and beyond.
