Sharat Verma appointed as President – Packaged Beverages (India & South Asia, including Organic India) at Tata Consumer Products Limited

Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, November 2025 — Tata Consumer Products Limited (TCPL) has announced the appointment of Sharat Verma as President – Packaged Beverages (India & South Asia, including Organic India), effective December 1, 2025. In his new role, Sharat will lead the company’s packaged beverages business across India and South Asia, driving strategic growth, brand innovation, and operational excellence across the company’s flagship beverage brands, including those under the Organic India portfolio.

With over two decades of global leadership experience at Procter & Gamble (P&G), Sharat brings exceptional expertise in brand management, market expansion, and cross-functional leadership. His extensive exposure to diverse markets and categories positions him to strengthen TCPL’s vision of becoming a multi-category FMCG powerhouse through sustainable and customer-centric growth.

At P&G, Sharat most recently served as Senior Vice President & General Manager, Fabric Care for India, Middle East & Africa, leading strategy and execution for renowned brands such as Tide, Ariel, and Downy. Prior to this, he held dual roles as Vice President – Fabric Care Head for the Indian Subcontinent and Chief Marketing Officer, P&G India, where he delivered robust business growth and enhanced brand equity through innovation-led marketing. Earlier, as Vice President – Personal Care, Greater China, he drove record revenue and market share growth for brands like Safeguard, Olay, and Old Spice, leading cross-functional teams across Finance, R&D, Marketing, and Sales.

Sharat began his professional journey with Henkel India as Area Sales Manager for Delhi, Chandigarh, and Himachal Pradesh, where he earned recognition for delivering exceptional sales performance and market leadership. His journey from frontline sales to senior global leadership at P&G reflects a blend of strategic foresight, operational acumen, and people-first leadership.

As he transitions into his new role at Tata Consumer Products, Sharat’s appointment underscores the company’s commitment to strengthening its beverage portfolio and expanding its footprint across South Asia. His deep consumer understanding and proven leadership in global markets are expected to further accelerate TCPL’s mission of delivering “For Better” to consumers and communities alike.
