Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India, October 2025 – ShardaCare – Healthcity, a unit of Sharda University and Sharda Hospital, has announced the appointment of Amit Toppo as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). With over 21 years of rich cross-industry experience spanning Healthcare, FMCG, Retail, and Manufacturing, Amit brings a deep understanding of human capital management, strategic HR transformation, and organizational growth to his new leadership role.
In his new capacity, Amit will be responsible for leading talent acquisition, performance excellence, employee engagement, and driving the hospital’s people-centric and purpose-driven culture. His leadership will be central to building a future-ready workforce and strengthening HR frameworks aligned with the institution’s mission of delivering compassionate and world-class healthcare.
Before joining ShardaCare – Healthcity, Amit served as Head of Human Resources at ART Fertility Clinics, where he led HR transformation initiatives and institutionalized employee engagement and performance frameworks across multiple centers in India. Earlier, as Vice President – Human Resources at DCDC Kidney Care, he managed cost optimization, manpower budgeting, and HRIS implementation to enhance organizational efficiency and compliance.
Previously, Amit worked with several leading healthcare institutions including Max Healthcare, BLK Super Speciality Hospital, and HCL Avitas, where he played a key role in designing HR policies, building performance management systems, and developing organizational culture. His career also includes significant roles in HR leadership at Fortis Hospitals, Aditya Birla Retail, SRF Limited, and BFPL (Bikano Foods)—establishing him as a versatile HR professional with expertise across sectors.
Amit holds a Postgraduate Degree in Human Resource Management from Xavier Institute of Social Service (XISS), Ranchi, one of India’s premier HR institutes, which has shaped many of the country’s leading HR leaders.
