Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, July 2024 – Amogh Deshmukh has taken on the role of Head – Leadership Practice at SHRM India. With a strong background in human resources, leadership advisory, and talent consulting, Amogh brings over two decades of experience to his new position, where he will lead senior executive leadership assessment, development, and coaching across India, the Asia Pacific, and MENA regions.
Prior to joining SHRM India, Amogh was the Head of Growth – India Region at AMS, responsible for managing the India Growth P&L strategy, devising growth and sales strategies, and overseeing client acquisition and relationship management. His role at AMS highlighted his expertise in talent advisory, recruitment, and strategic workforce planning.
Before AMS, Amogh served as the Managing Director at DDI India for nearly 16 years. In this role, he consulted with top Indian and global organizations on talent selection, leadership development, and succession planning. He played a pivotal role in implementing talent development initiatives and ensuring customer satisfaction on project deliverables.
Amogh’s earlier roles include Sales Manager – National Sales at Kelly Services, Inc, Operations Supervisor at i2i Enterprises, and Team Leader (Dell Vtitans Process) at Wipro Spectramind Pvt. Ltd.. These positions involved responsibilities ranging from handling sales and operations to managing training and development programs.
