California, United States, July 2025 – Amy Atkins has been appointed as Vice President, Strategic Talent at Astound Broadband. In this elevated position, she will lead strategic talent initiatives and drive long-term people strategies, continuing her impactful journey within the organization.
Prior to her current appointment, Amy Atkins served as Vice President, Human Resources at Astound Broadband, where she played a pivotal role in shaping HR policies, fostering leadership development, and advancing organizational culture across the company’s growing footprint.
Before her tenure as VP HR, she was Senior Director, Human Resources, having also held a similar leadership role at Wave Broadband, where she was instrumental in integrating HR functions during key organizational transitions and expansions.
Earlier, Amy worked at Cox Communications as Director, Training Delivery – East Region, where she led the training function for operational excellence. Prior to that, she was Vice President – Training and Organizational Development at Altice USA, where she successfully oversaw the training and recruitment transformation during large-scale acquisitions and led multiple virtual learning initiatives, saving significant operational costs.
She also held multiple senior roles at Suddenlink Communications, including Director of Call Center Operations, Regional Dispatch Manager, and Business Operations Manager, showcasing her strong cross-functional experience in operations, field service, and workforce management.
Amy’s early career includes over 8 years at Cox Communications in roles ranging from Director of Business Operations to Training Manager and Senior Employee Relations Consultant, building a solid foundation in HR, operations, and talent development.
