Dubai, United Arab Emirates, March 2026 — Anand Jayaraman has joined Wipro Technologies as Vice President and Head of CISS APMEA. The role is based in Dubai, and he is expected to relocate there once the current situation eases. This appointment marks a significant leadership move for Wipro Technologies as it continues to strengthen its capabilities across key international markets. With more than two decades of experience across technology services, infrastructure, consulting, outsourcing, and business development, Anand Jayaraman brings deep industry knowledge and a strong global leadership track record to his new position.
Before taking on this role, Anand Jayaraman was associated with HCLTech, where he most recently served as Senior Vice President in the Frankfurt Rhine-Main Metropolitan Area. Prior to that, he held the role of Vice President at the company for several years. His tenure at HCLTech added further depth to his leadership experience in business development, change management, executive management, and international market growth.
Earlier, he spent a major phase of his career with Wipro as General Manager and Business Head Continental Europe. In that role, he was entrusted with setting up operations from scratch in a new geography. Starting with a small team, he went on to build a much larger sales, presales, and delivery leadership organization, while helping acquire 38 customers over a six-year period within Cloud and Infrastructure Services. His leadership was also recognized internally when he received the Best People Manager award at Wipro in 2018 for identifying and grooming a high-performance team.
Prior to that, Anand Jayaraman held other important roles within Wipro Technologies, including Practice Director in London Area, United Kingdom, and Lead Consultant – Strategic Outsourcing Group, Technology Infrastructure Services in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. In these assignments, he contributed to major outsourcing and transformation engagements, including large infrastructure and business process outsourcing deals in the UK and Europe.
Earlier in his professional journey, he worked with Infosys Technologies Ltd in consulting roles across London and Bengaluru, where he was responsible for large bid management in the infrastructure management space. He also held positions with HP as Sales Specialist – Technology Solutions and with HCL Comnet as Regional Sales Manager, building a strong commercial and sales foundation across technology-led businesses.
With his broad leadership exposure across Wipro, HCLTech, Infosys, HP, and HCL Comnet, Anand Jayaraman brings a wealth of experience in scaling teams, entering new geographies, managing strategic client relationships, and driving growth across international markets. His return to Wipro Technologies in a senior leadership role is expected to support the company’s continued momentum in the region and reinforce its strategic focus on customer growth and transformation.
