Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, September 2025 — Anant Sharma, an accomplished HR professional with close to two decades of experience, has been elevated to Head – HR & Administration at Praneetha EcoCables Limited (Wire & Cables BU of Adani Group), a 50:50 joint venture of Adani Enterprises Limited and Praneetha Ventures. In his new role, Sharma will spearhead people strategy, organizational culture, and administration to support the company’s sustainable growth journey.
Sharma has been associated with Adani Enterprises Limited – Natural Resources for over 13 years. He has held multiple leadership responsibilities including heading HR for Commercial Coal Mines, Iron Ore Mines & Aluminium Business, leading HR for Kalinga Alumina Limited, and driving HR for the Coal Trading & Bunker Trading Business. Earlier in his Adani tenure, he served as Talent Acquisition Lead for Coal Mining and Trading businesses. His contributions reflect a consistent focus on talent management, organizational development, and strategic workforce planning.
Prior to joining Adani, Sharma worked with Action Ispat and Power Pvt. Ltd. as Manager – HR, where he led recruitment, manpower planning, and organizational development initiatives. Before that, he was Manager – Corporate HR at Tecumseh Products India Pvt. Ltd., focusing on strategic HRM areas including talent and performance management, compensation, and leadership development.
His earlier career also includes roles at Bharti Retail Limited (Easyday) as Assistant Manager – HR, and OSRAM as Senior Executive – HR, where he gained valuable exposure in recruitment, employee engagement, and compliance-driven HR practices.
Sharma holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management (Strategy and Leadership) from Emeritus, equipping him with advanced knowledge in strategic HR leadership.
