San Francisco, California, United States, September 2025 – Andrea (Demakas) Wheatley has taken on a new role as Vice President, People & Special Projects at Arbital Health, a healthcare technology startup driving the shift to value-based care in the United States. In this dual-capacity position, Andrea will lead people strategy to attract mission-driven talent while also contributing to critical initiatives such as customer success and organizational development.
Andrea has been a key member of Arbital Health since early 2024, initially serving as Head of Customer Success & Strategy, followed by a promotion to Vice President of Operations. In these roles, she contributed to the design and implementation of operational infrastructure, while also playing a pivotal part in hiring and culture-building efforts.
Prior to joining Arbital Health, Andrea worked at Advera Health Analytics (acquired by TriNetX) for over 11 years, where she held multiple leadership roles. As Senior Director of Business & Operations, she supported cross-functional teams to promote pharmacovigilance (PV) offerings and oversaw operational delivery of client projects. As Director of PV & Enterprise Sales, she helped clients manage complex health outcomes data and improve drug safety processes using Advera’s advanced platform.
Earlier in her career at Advera, Andrea served as an Account Executive, building deep expertise in business development and client engagement. She also held a Research Assistant position at the Institute of Personality and Social Research, University of California, Berkeley, where she contributed to a longitudinal study by managing historical psychological data.
