Shirebrook, England, United Kingdom, October 2024 – Andy Brown has been appointed as the Chief People Officer at Frasers Group, starting his new role in August 2024. Andy will leverage his extensive experience in human resources to drive the company’s strategic initiatives and continue enhancing its HR operations.
Prior to this new role, Andy served as Group HR Director at Frasers Group for approximately four years. During this period, he successfully led HR operations and transformation projects, enhancing the overall efficiency and effectiveness of HR functions across the company.
Andy also brings valuable experience from his time as HR Director at Evans Cycles, where he spent over three years overseeing HR operations and ensuring alignment between the business strategy and the people agenda. His leadership contributed to organizational growth and improved employee engagement.
Before joining Evans Cycles, Andy held the position of People Director – Retail at Countrywide Plc, leading HR for a large workforce spread across multiple locations. His role focused on transforming the HR structure to support business objectives while driving improvements in customer satisfaction and employee performance.
Earlier in his career, Andy worked as Head of Human Resources at Hamptons International. During his tenure, he was responsible for implementing innovative HR strategies that led to better employee engagement and retention, aligning the company’s people strategy with its rapid business growth.
