Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, April 2026 — Kunal Gupta has been elevated to Senior Vice President at Flipkart, where he currently leads Flipkart Minutes, the company’s quick commerce vertical. His elevation reflects Flipkart’s continued focus on strengthening internal leadership as it accelerates growth across new-age commerce segments.
In his expanded role, Kunal Gupta will continue to drive growth, scale operations, and strengthen Flipkart’s position in the rapidly evolving quick commerce space. He brings deep expertise across multiple high-impact business categories, including smartphones, grocery, home, appliances, fashion, mobile accessories, electronics accessories, and quick commerce.
Kunal has been associated with Flipkart for more than a decade, holding several leadership roles across business units and categories. He currently leads Flipkart Minutes, the company’s quick commerce business, and also heads the Fashion Business, contributing to growth strategy, category leadership, and business execution across major consumer segments.
Earlier at Flipkart, Kunal served as Head of Appliances Business, where he led the appliances category and supported business growth in one of the platform’s key consumer electronics segments. Before that, he served as BU Head and P&L Head – Smartphones / Mobiles, leading one of Indian e-commerce’s most critical categories.
Kunal also played an important role in the growth of Flipkart Wholesale, where he served as BU Head and P&L Head – Grocery Business. In this role, he was part of the core team involved in building and setting up the B2B business at Flipkart and led a large team supporting the grocery business.
Earlier, he held multiple leadership positions in Flipkart’s home, smartphones, electronics accessories, and computer accessories businesses. As Senior Director & Business Head – Home Business, he led business strategy, category growth, market share expansion, pricing principles, inventory and fulfillment strategy, strategic partnerships, and product-led business use cases. He also served as Director & Business Head – Home Business, Director – Business Development – Smartphones, Associate Director – Smartphones, Associate Director and Head – Mobile Accessories and Electronics Accessories, and Category Head – Computer/Laptop Accessories, Peripherals & Networking Devices.
Before joining Flipkart, Kunal worked with Microsoft as Marketing Manager, where he gained experience in marketing and business execution. Prior to that, he served as Area Sales Manager at Nokia, building strong sales and channel leadership experience. He began his earlier career with Tata Motors as Territory Manager, gaining foundational experience in sales, market operations, and territory management.
