Australia, April 2026 — Angela Oaten has joined BildGroup as Chief People Officer, marking an important milestone in her people leadership journey. Her appointment reflects extensive experience across people and culture, business services, industrial relations, organizational development, executive leadership, and transformation in infrastructure, construction, and industrial businesses.
Before joining BildGroup, Angela Oaten was associated with Multiworks, where she served as Chief People and Business Services Officer and earlier as Chief People Officer. Prior to that, she held a contract role at Seymour Whyte as Capability, Capacity and Performance Manager, and was Chief People and Culture Officer at Top Shelf International. These assignments reflect a strong progression across people strategy, business services, performance, compliance, and culture transformation.
Earlier, she was associated with Symal Group as Executive Manager Corporate Services, with Penske Australia & New Zealand as General Manager Human Resources, and with Fulton Hogan in roles including General Manager People and National Organisational Development Manager. Prior to that, she worked with Leighton Contractors as Senior People and Capability Manager and earlier with Fulton Hogan as National HR Advisor. These roles reflect a long and accomplished journey across HR leadership, workforce planning, succession planning, learning and development, and business improvement.
In addition to her executive roles, Angela Oaten currently serves as Board Member at Aberlea Inc, Board Member at Empowered Women In Trades (EWIT) Group Australia, and Advisory Committee Member at HealthBright. In the earlier phase of her career, she was associated with Apprenticeships Plus, Key Solutions, The Salvation Army Employment Plus, and MSSA. Together, her experience reflects a distinguished leadership journey across people strategy, governance, inclusion, business transformation, and workforce development.
With experience spanning BildGroup, Multiworks, Seymour Whyte, Top Shelf International, Symal Group, Penske Australia & New Zealand, Fulton Hogan, Leighton Contractors, and several advisory and board roles, Angela Oaten brings a strong and well-rounded leadership profile to her new role. Her appointment as Chief People Officer is expected to support BildGroup as it continues to build the infrastructure and facilities communities need to thrive.
