London, England, United Kingdom, April 2025 – Angus MacGregor has joined Shaw Gibbs as the firm’s new Chief People Officer, bringing with him over two decades of leadership in human resources, executive coaching, legal advisory, and business transformation across global professional services and financial institutions. In this newly appointed role, Angus is responsible for shaping a people-first strategy aligned with Shaw Gibbs’ mission to lead in accountancy and business advisory services across the UK.
Prior to this appointment, Angus served as Strategic Adviser on Business Transformation at Katara Hospitality, where he worked directly with the CEO to redesign the operating model and align talent acquisition with evolving investment strategies. He also briefly supported Vistra as Programme Director, helping guide the post-merger integration of Tricor and Vistra.

Angus spent over a decade at MUFG, where he served in multiple international leadership roles including Head of Global HR, Interim CHRO APAC, and CHRO for EMEA and Securities Internationally, overseeing global integration, cultural transformation, and HR strategy execution. His earlier roles included Group HR Director at Eversheds Sutherland and HR leadership roles at Barclays and Deutsche Bank, where he navigated organizational change and talent strategy in high-growth and highly regulated environments.
In addition to his executive responsibilities, Angus completed a Professional Certificate in Executive Coaching from Henley Business School, further strengthening his capabilities in leadership development and strategic people engagement.
