Calgary, Alberta, Canada, September 2024 – Aniisa Allahar has been appointed as Vice President, People Services & Experience at Wawanesa Insurance. In this role, Aniisa will lead the company’s efforts to enhance employee experiences and manage people services, focusing on innovation and strategic initiatives to drive organizational success.
Aniisa Allahar brings a rich background in human resources to her new role. She joined Wawanesa Insurance in August 2024, where she is responsible for advancing people services and improving overall employee experience.
Prior to this, Aniisa served as Vice President, Employee Solutions at Rogers Communications for approximately one year and three months. In this role, she was instrumental in developing and implementing employee solutions that aligned with organizational goals.
Before her tenure at Rogers Communications, Aniisa was with Shaw Communications for a decade. She held various roles including Vice President, People & Culture for nearly two years and eight months, and Human Resources Director – Corporate for approximately three and a half years. Her extensive experience at Shaw also includes roles as HR Manager – Shaw Business and Manager, HR Total Rewards.
Aniisa began her career as Compensation Manager at PepsiCo, where she worked for about nine years, overseeing compensation strategies and initiatives.
