Hartford, Connecticut, United States, June 2026 — Jeff M. has joined Hartford HealthCare as Vice President, Human Resources – East Region. In this role, he will oversee human resources strategy and people initiatives for the region, supporting Hartford HealthCare’s mission of delivering exceptional healthcare services and driving organizational excellence.
Prior to joining Hartford HealthCare, Jeff served as Vice President, Human Resources at Travelers, where he led HR strategy for Technology & Operations, including enterprise technology transformation, artificial intelligence, emerging technologies, and cybersecurity functions. He played a key role in organizational design, workforce planning, operating model transformation, and talent strategy initiatives.
Before Travelers, he spent more than seven years with Sun Life, most recently as Head of U.S. Talent, Engagement and Experience. During his tenure, he led talent management, talent acquisition, learning and development, employee relations, HR analytics, and diversity and inclusion initiatives. He also previously served as Director, Human Resource Business Partner, supporting business growth, organizational design, succession planning, and workforce development programs.
Earlier in his career, Jeff spent more than seven years with Chubb as Assistant Vice President, Human Resource Business Partner, leading strategic HR initiatives, leadership development programs, and change management efforts. He also held a variety of HR leadership positions at Aetna, including HR Business Partner, HR Customer Support Manager, and HR Technology Strategy Lead, where he helped shape talent management and HR technology strategies. His professional journey additionally includes experience with Cigna, Keystone Savings Bank, and Corestates Bank, as well as serving as an Adjunct Faculty member at Saint Joseph College.
