Athens, Greece, September 2024 – Anna Alexakou has taken on the role of Head of Talent Management & Performance at Leroy Merlin. In this position, she will lead the company’s talent strategies, performance management initiatives, and development programs, driving growth and ensuring an employee-centered approach in alignment with the company’s goals.
Before joining Leroy Merlin, Anna was the Group HR Business Partner at FOURLIS Group of Companies for over two years. During her tenure, she was instrumental in designing and implementing the HR strategy for Holland & Barrett Greece, a new subsidiary of FOURLIS Group. She was responsible for a wide range of HR functions, including recruitment, talent and performance management, learning and development, and employee engagement, setting up the company’s HR operations from the ground up.
Prior to that, Anna served as the Group Development & Communication Supervisor at FOURLIS Group for nearly three years, leading learning and development initiatives, talent management programs, and internal communication plans across multiple countries. She also played a key role in the design and implementation of a new internal communication tool, which won a Gold Award in HR Awards 2019.
Anna’s earlier experience includes roles as Group Development & Communication Coordinator and Group Development & Communication Specialist at FOURLIS Group, where she handled recruitment, learning initiatives, and performance management for all companies within the group. She also supported various HR projects across five countries, enhancing the company’s HR processes and internal communication strategies.
She began her career in HR and marketing roles, including as a Human Resources & Marketing Executive at Yalodomi, where she contributed to the creation of HR processes, recruitment strategies, and performance evaluation systems, playing a pivotal role in setting up the company’s HR function.
