Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States, January 2026 – Anne Chang has joined Fuze Health as Senior Vice President, Head of HR, marking a significant leadership addition to the organization as it continues to expand its technology-driven healthcare ecosystem. In her new role, Chang is responsible for leading the end-to-end human resources function and partnering closely with the CEO to advance Fuze Health’s mission, culture, and growth agenda. Commenting on her appointment, she shared that she looks forward to working with an exceptionally talented team and to impacting the organization’s most important asset – its people.
In her most recent professional chapter, Chang brings deep leadership experience from Optum, where she spent nearly eight years in senior people leadership roles across global and enterprise-scale portfolios. Most recently, she served as Vice President, People Team – Optum Insight, partnering with the COO and leading people strategy across payer and provider operations, global delivery teams, and a workforce of approximately 20,000 employees. Prior to this, she was Vice President, People Team – Optum Health, where she acted as the global people leader for a multi-billion-dollar healthcare portfolio spanning behavioral health, telehealth, urgent care, military and veterans’ health, and community care businesses, overseeing large-scale workforce integration, mergers, culture transformation, and leadership succession initiatives.
Earlier at Optum Global, Chang served for over four years as Vice President, People Team – Optum Global, leading human resources for more than 50,000 employees across 23 global delivery centers. In this role, she partnered closely with executive leadership on long-term strategy, international market expansion across Asia Pacific, Europe, and Latin America, global DEI initiatives, and large-scale mergers and integrations. Her tenure at Optum also included leadership roles as Senior Director, Human Capital Partner, where she provided strategic HR leadership for Optum Shared Services and Optum Ireland.
Before joining Optum, Chang spent close to seven years with UnitedHealthcare, where she held senior human capital leadership and operational strategy roles including Director, Human Capital Partner and Director, Payment Integrity, working on enterprise human capital strategy, employee engagement, organizational change, and large-scale workforce planning initiatives. Her earlier career includes HR leadership roles with Medtronic, Orbital ATK, Pentair, and UPS, building a strong foundation in talent development, learning and development, organizational effectiveness, staffing, and HR operations across global manufacturing, healthcare, and technology environments.
Chang is also an active member of the Women Business Leaders of the U.S. Health Care Industry Foundation (WBL) and serves as a Board Member on the Hennepin County Human Resources Advisory Board, reflecting her ongoing commitment to advancing leadership and governance in the healthcare and nonprofit ecosystem.
