Luxembourg – Anne Schneider has joined ArcelorMittal WireSolutions as the new Chief Sustainability Officer.
With a distinguished career spanning over two decades, primarily within ArcelorMittal, Schneider’s expertise in procurement management and sustainability initiatives prepares her well for her new role focusing on Health & Safety, Environmental and Social Governance (ESG), and Security.
Prior to her current role, Schneider managed ArcelorMittal’s procurement activities as the Head of Purchasing since February 2015, overseeing significant capital and subcontracting contracts, and leading a large team in Luxembourg. Her tenure featured a comprehensive audit and reorganization of the purchasing department which greatly enhanced operational efficiencies.
From March 2010 to February 2015, Schneider served as a Global Buyer for Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), after advancing from her previous role as an HSE Manager which she held from April 2003. Her early career included technical positions in environmental and radioprotection engineering at Veolia Environment and EDF, respectively, establishing her foundational skills in environmental management and safety protocols.
