Pawan Kumar Pandey Promoted to Vice President – HR at DeHaat

Patna, Bihar, India, October 2025 — DeHaat, one of India’s fastest-growing AgriTech companies, has announced the promotion of Pawan Kumar Pandey to Vice President – Human Resources, effective October 1, 2025. In his expanded role, Pawan will oversee the organization’s HR strategy with a key focus on Senior HR Business Partnership and Compliance, playing a pivotal role in driving DeHaat’s talent and people operations agenda as the company scales across multiple agrarian states.

Pawan has been an integral part of DeHaat since 2019, contributing significantly to the company’s growth trajectory through strategic HR initiatives, organizational development, and people management frameworks. His leadership has strengthened DeHaat’s talent systems across its rapidly expanding workforce, supporting the company’s mission of transforming India’s agricultural ecosystem.

Before joining DeHaat, he served as General Manager – HR at EVA Group for over three years, where he led HR transformation programs and built strong performance and compliance cultures within the organization.

Earlier, Pawan was associated with VENKY’S India Ltd. as General Manager – HR Operations, where he focused on HR process improvement, employee relations, and operational excellence across the company’s business units. His tenure there reinforced his expertise in workforce management and industrial relations.

Previously, he also served as AGM – HR at EVA Group, and before that, held HR leadership roles at HT Media Ltd. and Amar Ujala Publications Ltd. As Unit HR Head at both organizations, he played an instrumental role in talent acquisition, employee engagement, and industrial relations in the print media sector.

Pawan holds a Master’s degree in Personnel Management & Industrial Relations from Banaras Hindu University, a foundation that has underpinned his over two-decade-long career in strategic HR leadership.
