NEW YORK, April 10, 2024 — Abacus Group, a premier Managed Services Provider (MSP) to alternative investment firms, announced today the appointment of Anthony J. D’Ambrosi as its new Chief Executive Officer. D’Ambrosi, taking over from founder Chris Grandi who has shifted to the role of Chairperson, aims to more than double the company’s size in the next three years and enhance its service delivery and innovation capabilities.
With over 30 years of experience in the global IT and service provider industry, D’Ambrosi brings a wealth of knowledge from his previous role as CEO of ATSG, and other senior executive positions across various service provider organizations. His expertise spans managed services, cybersecurity, and finance, positioning him well to lead Abacus Group’s ambitious growth plans.
D’Ambrosi plans to accelerate Abacus Group’s expansion across the financial services markets worldwide, focusing on both organic client growth and targeted acquisitions, particularly in the NAFTA and EMEA regions. His strategy emphasizes a cloud and cybersecurity-first approach, aiming to enhance service offerings and deepen client and partner engagement.
