Zurich, Switzerland, December 2025 – Antonio Calco’ Labruzzo has been appointed as Senior Vice President – People & Culture, Arcera GenMed at Arcera Life Sciences, a global life sciences leader headquartered in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. With operations spanning over 90 countries and a portfolio of 2,000 branded medicines, Arcera is shaping the future of healthcare — and Antonio’s appointment underscores its strong emphasis on talent-led transformation.
Antonio joins Arcera after a remarkable six-year tenure at Takeda, where he most recently served as Global Head of Human Resources for GREFP and Takeda Business Solutions (TBS). He led a comprehensive HR transformation across 40+ countries, impacting 50,000+ employees, and designed global people strategies, digital HR initiatives, workforce planning models, and DE&I frameworks that resulted in over 25% diverse leadership representation.
Prior to Takeda, he was the Group CHRO at Colosseum Dental Group, a European dental care leader operating across 9 countries with 8,000 employees. In this role, Antonio defined the group-wide people strategy, implemented new incentive schemes, and led HR aspects of multiple M&A deals.
Earlier, he served as Group Global Head of HR – Corporate Functions at COFCO International, where he oversaw post-M&A integration, restructured global footprints, and established three shared services centers for HR. His leadership spanned 36 countries and a workforce of over 15,000.
Antonio also spent several years in Asia and Europe in senior HR leadership roles with Coesia Group, where he was Regional HR Director for Asia-Pacific and later Group Chief Talent Officer. His early career includes impactful roles with Kraft Heinz, Vodafone, GE Healthcare, and L’Oréal, giving him a solid foundation in HR across diverse industries and geographies.
