New Delhi, India, October 2025 — Anurag Aggarwal has joined LMS as Chief Business Officer (CBO), bringing with him over 15 years of leadership experience across the telecommunications and SaaS industries. In his new role, Anurag will oversee Sales and Marketing, lead international expansion, and strengthen LMS’s global presence in the rapidly growing domains of AI-driven communications, CPaaS, and messaging solutions.
A strategic and results-driven leader, Anurag is recognized for his ability to scale businesses and forge impactful alliances across global markets. Before joining LMS, he served as Chief Revenue Officer (Enterprise Business) at GMS, where he led global AI and CPaaS initiatives, built partnerships with hyperscalers and OTT giants, and enhanced the company’s positioning in enterprise communications through unified growth strategies and cross-industry collaboration.
Earlier, Anurag played a pivotal role as Chief Growth Officer at Globe Teleservices Pte. Ltd., driving international expansion and introducing innovative solutions across anti-fraud, blockchain RegTech, and CPaaS domains. He also contributed significantly to the evolution of Tanla Platforms Limited, where he led global partnerships and alliances for Wisely—a blockchain-based CPaaS platform co-developed with Microsoft. His leadership there generated over $50 million in annual revenue through large-scale alliances and collaborations with global operators and regulators.
Anurag’s tenure at Tata Communications was marked by exceptional achievements—he launched and scaled the company’s A2P Messaging Business into a $100 million annual revenue vertical and played a key role in shaping India’s blockchain-based DLT framework in collaboration with TRAI. Earlier, as part of Tata Administrative Services (TAS), he gained extensive cross-sector experience through projects at Tata Steel, Tata Power, Tata Africa, and Mount Everest Mineral Water, developing expertise in strategic growth, brand management, and operational excellence.
Beyond his corporate leadership, Anurag continues to make significant contributions to global industry development as a Global Board Member of the Mobile Ecosystem Forum (MEF) and Board Advisor at i3Forum, where he has helped define international telecom and messaging standards. He is also the Founder and Host of the “Humans of Telecom” podcast, which highlights the stories of industry leaders shaping the global telecom landscape. An alumnus of the Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), University of Delhi, Anurag’s appointment marks a pivotal moment for LMS as it continues its journey toward global leadership in intelligent communication solutions.
