New Delhi, Delhi, India, April 2026 – Microsoft has announced the appointment of Aparajita Puri as Managing Director – Strategic Pursuits Team (SPT). It’s a new role on the India leadership team to help shape and scale meaningful enterprise transformations and deals.
Prior to joining Microsoft, Aparajita Puri spent over a decade with McKinsey & Company, where she rose to the position of Partner. During her tenure, she led strategic engagements across sectors, advising organizations on transformation, growth strategy, and operational excellence.
Earlier at McKinsey, she held roles including Associate Partner, Engagement Manager, Associate, and Junior Associate, building deep expertise in consulting, business strategy, and leadership development while working with global and regional clients.
Before McKinsey, Aparajita gained early experience as an Analyst at Bain & Company, where she worked on strategy and consulting assignments. She also completed a Summer Internship at Deutsche Bank, gaining exposure to investment banking and M&A within the EMEA consumer team.
She holds an MBA in Finance from the Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi, and has completed studies in Public Policy Analysis from the University of Oxford, strengthening her strong analytical and leadership foundation.
