Santa Clara, California, United States, April 2026 – Aparna Bawa has been appointed as Executive Vice President and Chief Legal & People Officer at Intel Corporation, marking a strategic leadership move that integrates legal excellence with people strategy at one of the world’s leading technology companies.
In this expanded leadership role, Aparna Bawa will oversee both the global legal function and people organization, aligning governance, compliance, and talent strategy to support Intel’s innovation-driven growth agenda and evolving workforce needs.
Prior to joining Intel Corporation, Aparna Bawa spent nearly eight years at Zoom Video Communications, where she held multiple senior leadership roles. Most recently, she served as Chief Operating Officer, leading critical business operations and scaling the organization through a period of rapid global expansion. Earlier, she was Chief Legal Officer, where she built and led the company’s global legal framework.
She also serves as an Independent Board Member at Palo Alto Networks, contributing strategic oversight at the board level in one of the world’s leading cybersecurity firms.
Before Zoom, she was Senior Vice President, General Counsel at Magento Commerce, where she managed global legal operations for one of the world’s leading commerce platforms.
Her earlier tenure at Nimble Storage as Vice President, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary was marked by significant milestones, including leading legal strategy during a period of rapid growth, overseeing its IPO, and playing a key role in its acquisition by Hewlett Packard Enterprise.
At Inphi Corporation, she served as Head of Legal & Corporate Development, where she built foundational legal and corporate development functions and led IPO execution.
She began her career in technology investment banking at Lehman Brothers and Deutsche Bank, followed by corporate law practice at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where she specialized in securities, M&A, and venture financing.
