Mumbai, Maharashtra ,India, September 2025 — Arpita Roy Luthra has joined Schindler India as Vice President – NI Sales, Strategy & Marketing, where she will lead growth in the New Installation business. In her new role, she will be responsible for strengthening sales, driving innovative strategies, and enhancing stakeholder engagement to deliver sustainable growth and operational excellence.
With a career spanning over 20 years across geographies and industries, Arpita brings deep expertise in sales, marketing, and enterprise strategy. Most recently, she was National Sales & Marketing Head at Everest Industries Limited, where she drove category growth in fiber cement boards, accelerated high-value product expansion, and successfully built an infrastructure focused on architect and specifier engagement, distribution ramp-up, and digital sales.
Previously, she served as Head of Marketing at Stallion Group Nigeria, one of the largest business conglomerates in Sub-Saharan Africa. In this role, she managed automotive brand portfolios including Hyundai, Honda, Nissan, Porsche, Audi, Volkswagen, and Skoda, achieving significant market share growth and launching new business lines in the auto segment.
Her global experience also includes her tenure as Head of Enterprise Operations at Bharti Airtel International (Netherlands) B.V., based in Nairobi, where she managed enterprise performance across 14 operating companies in Africa, overseeing strategy, product pricing, and revenue planning. She also held leadership roles at Crown Paints Kenya Plc and Pidilite Industries Ltd, where she spearheaded business development and product innovation in construction solutions.
Arpita began her career with sales and marketing roles at Airtel, SABMiller, and Godfrey Phillips India Ltd, gaining a strong foundation in institutional sales, brand building, and customer engagement. Her diverse exposure across FMCG, telecom, paints, real estate, and automotive has equipped her with the ability to lead multi-country operations and high-performing teams with agility and innovation.
