Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, February 2026 — Arti Hiralaher has taken on a new role as General Manager – Talent Acquisition (Leadership Hiring) at ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India. In this position, she will lead leadership hiring and strategic talent mapping for critical roles, supporting current and future leadership requirements across the organisation.
In her new mandate, Arti will work closely with senior leadership to strengthen executive and leadership hiring frameworks, build robust talent pipelines, and enable succession planning across key functions. Her role will be instrumental in aligning leadership talent strategy with the company’s long-term growth, transformation, and sustainability goals.
Prior to joining ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India, Arti served as Head – Energy and Infrastructure Practice at FirstMeridian Search Partners, where she built and led the Energy & Infrastructure practice from the ground up. Her responsibilities included setting up management search and selection capabilities, acquiring marquee clients, and building high-performing teams. Earlier, she was Director at Scaler Consulting, leading pan-India and global C-suite searches across IT and non-IT roles for diversified industrial groups.
Arti has also held senior leadership roles at Quess Corp Limited as Associate Partner, Human Elevation (Legal League Consulting) as Vice President – Talent Acquisition & Engagement, and Essar Steel as DGM – Talent Acquisition, where she led leadership hiring across India and international markets. Her earlier experience includes leadership hiring roles with The Head Hunters India Pvt. Ltd. and TRP Consultants Pvt. Ltd., reflecting over two decades of deep expertise in executive search, leadership hiring, and talent strategy across infrastructure, manufacturing, energy, legal, and industrial sectors.
