Delhi, India, July 2026 — Rockwell Automation has appointed Arvind Kakru as Regional Vice President – Asia Pacific Lifecycle Services. In his new role, he will lead the Projects and Services Business Unit across the Asia Pacific region, driving growth strategies, strengthening customer partnerships, and advancing lifecycle services capabilities to support industrial transformation and operational excellence.
Arvind brings nearly three decades of leadership experience across industrial automation, energy management, digital transformation, and business operations. Throughout his career, he has built a strong reputation for driving business growth, leading large-scale transformations, and delivering sustainable value across diverse industrial sectors and geographies.
Prior to joining Rockwell Automation in this new regional leadership capacity, Arvind served as Vice President – Industrial Automation, Greater India at Schneider Electric, where he was responsible for leading three automation businesses and driving strategic growth initiatives across the region. His leadership focused on strengthening market presence, enhancing customer value propositions, and delivering profitable business outcomes.
Arvind has also had a distinguished association with Rockwell Automation, where he previously served as Director Sales and Country Head – End User and EPC Business Segment. During his tenure, he led the company’s commercial organization in India, overseeing end-user, EPC, OEM, and industry segments while executing strategies that accelerated business growth, profitability, and market expansion.
Earlier in his career, he held several senior leadership positions with GE Power, GE Energy Connections, and GE Intelligent Platforms, including roles as Regional Leader – India and South Asia, Chief Commercial Officer, and Business Leader. Across these assignments, he successfully managed multiple P&Ls, led business transformation initiatives, drove operational excellence, and served on the boards of several GE entities, gaining extensive expertise in strategic planning, commercial operations, and organizational leadership.
His appointment underscores Rockwell Automation’s commitment to strengthening its lifecycle services business across Asia Pacific and delivering innovative industrial automation solutions that help customers improve productivity, efficiency, and sustainability.
