In this new leadership mandate, he will drive the human capital strategy for India’s largest manufacturer of ceramic and vitrified tiles, focusing on strengthening organizational capability, advancing people transformation, and aligning talent priorities with the company’s long-term growth vision.
Ashish joins Kajaria Ceramics following a highly impactful tenure as Chief Human Resources Officer at Essel Group | Zee Media Corporation Limited, where he spent over seven years leading people strategy and digital HR transformation for a workforce of 3,000+ employees across 250 locations. During his tenure, he realigned HR strategy with evolving business priorities, led complete automation of HR processes, drove cost optimization, and revamped the organization’s talent management framework.
Earlier, as Chief Human Resources Officer at Technicon Group, he played a pivotal role in institutionalizing a performance-driven culture, strengthening capability-building frameworks, and redesigning talent acquisition and compensation strategies. His leadership journey also includes a significant stint at Vodafone as General Manager – Human Resources, where he led leadership development, succession planning, and culture transformation initiatives while managing the large-scale brand transition from Hutch to Vodafone for over 11,500 employees across India.
Ashish’s earlier roles at Hero MotoCorp and Career Launcher saw him design and implement HR systems across diverse geographies, initiate large-scale employee engagement programs, and contribute to scaling high-growth organizations into national leaders. With deep expertise in organizational restructuring, automation, and performance-led culture building, he now spearheads the HR roadmap for Kajaria Ceramics as it continues its growth trajectory.
