Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, November 2024 – Ashish Sharma has taken on the role of Head of Human Resources at Mac-Chem Products India Pvt. Ltd. In this role, he will oversee strategic HR operations, staff development, change management, and organizational culture to support the company’s growth and success in the pharmaceutical industry.
Prior to joining Mac-Chem, Ashish served as a Human Resources Specialist at MRR Children’s Hospital, where he managed the entire employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and learning and development.
Before this, he held the position of Head of Human Resources at Mumbai Oncocare Center, where he played a pivotal role in scaling operations by setting up five new satellite clinics and driving HR initiatives, such as performance evaluations, training programs, and compliance adherence.
Ashish also served as Senior Human Resources Manager at ACI Cumballa Hill Hospital, where he partnered with the leadership team to navigate challenging business phases. He implemented key HR processes, such as a KRA-based performance management system and employee satisfaction surveys, aligning HR strategies with organizational goals over nearly seven years.
Earlier in his career, Ashish worked as an HR Manager at Birla Research & Life Sciences Ltd., where he contributed to talent acquisition, policy restructuring, and HR process automation. His early career included roles at Parekh Integrated Services Pvt. Ltd., Tata Sky Ltd., and HSBC Bank, where he gained expertise in MIS, recruitment, and employee relations.
