Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, July 2024 – Ashish Todaria has taken on the role of Vice President- Human Resources Benefits Operations at Citi. With an extensive background in HR benefits operations, Ashish is set to lead HR strategies and initiatives across the Asia Pacific region to support the company’s continued growth and success.
Ashish Todaria has been with Citi for approximately 18 years. Prior to his current role, he served as Assistant Vice President-Retirals & Benefits for nearly six years, where he led employees’ retirals trusts and benefits administration for 32,000 employees, managed defined benefits for group entities, and oversaw retirals funds investment. His responsibilities also included voluntary retirement scheme negotiation and settlements, divestiture benefits, and various salary benefits reimbursement processes.
Before that, Ashish was the Manager HR Shared Services for over five years, focusing on SME union payroll management, banking bi-partite settlement, and regular employees’ payroll and benefits for 8,000 employees. His expertise in employee relations, HR policies, and payroll management has been instrumental in his career progression.
Ashish also served as the Assistant Manager Payroll and Benefits for five years, managing end-to-end payroll and benefits for India, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh, as well as retirals benefit and exit processes. Additionally, he held the position of Officer-Human Resources, where he managed HR operations for 8,000 employees.
His earlier experience includes working as an H.R. Generalist at Mohan Clothing Company BLACKBERRYS Clothes for nearly a year, managing HR functions for factory employees.
