Before joining BIG FM, Ashit served as Chief Executive Officer of Music Broadcast Limited (Radio City India) from September 2018 to August 2025, where he spearheaded innovation, audience engagement, and brand growth in one of India’s most competitive radio markets. His leadership at Radio City was instrumental in expanding the network’s digital reach and consolidating its leadership position across key metros and emerging markets.

Prior to this, Ashit held senior leadership roles across several major media organizations. He was President & Chief Operating Officer at Radio City India, President – Revenue at Times Network, COO – NewsX & CRO – Non News at iTV Network, and Regional Head at Bennett Coleman & Co. Ltd. (The Times of India).
