Dallas–Fort Worth, Texas, United States, October 2025 – Astad Dhunjisha has been elevated to Vice President – Human Resources (Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development) at AT&T, one of the world’s leading telecommunications and technology companies. In this expanded leadership role, Astad will oversee global talent acquisition, learning, and development initiatives while leading a 700+ member team responsible for driving strategic talent delivery, onboarding, and capability building across the organization.
Astad has been with AT&T for over three years, where he has played a central role in transforming the company’s global HR and talent landscape. Previously serving as Vice President – Human Resources and Talent Acquisition, he led the organization’s AI-driven HR transformation, integrating advanced agentic AI to enhance the employee experience and modernize hiring processes. His leadership helped AT&T achieve seamless global recruitment of over 28,000 employees annually and relaunch its employee engagement survey to strengthen post-pandemic culture alignment.
Before joining AT&T, Astad was SVP – Global Talent Acquisition and Human Resources at Experian, where he led global teams across North America, Europe, and Asia Pacific. He played a crucial role in scaling Experian’s talent operations as the company expanded its data intelligence and information services business across 40 countries.
Earlier in his career, Astad held several global HR leadership positions at Bayer Crop Science (formerly Monsanto), including Global Vice President HR – Talent Acquisition, Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer, and Director HR – Corporate Functions. His tenure at Monsanto and Bayer was marked by his deep involvement in global M&A integration, inclusion strategy, and long-term workforce planning.
Astad began his professional journey with organizations such as ICICI Bank, Ranbaxy Laboratories, and KPMG, gaining foundational experience in HR operations, engagement, and organizational effectiveness across industries.
Astad holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Relations from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and a Master’s in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations (PM&IR) from Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), two of the world’s most prestigious institutions in the field of human resources.
