Charlotte, North Carolina, United States, August 2025 – Autumn Gagarinas has been appointed as the Chief People and Workplace Transformation Officer at Albemarle Corporation. This new role marks a continuation of her impactful journey in shaping people and workplace strategies. She expressed gratitude for the leadership and progress that preceded her appointment and emphasized her commitment to fostering workplaces where empathy, purpose, and adaptability drive success. Autumn will now focus on building a culture where every individual can thrive while leading transformation initiatives across the company’s global workforce.
Autumn has been part of Albemarle Corporation since 2023, most recently serving as Vice President Human Resources for Energy Storage, where she played a crucial role in aligning people strategies with Albemarle’s growth in the energy transition sector. Her contributions during this period laid the foundation for her elevation to the Chief People and Workplace Transformation Officer role.
Prior to Albemarle, she was Vice President of Human Resources at ITT Inc., leading HR strategy and operations for ITT IP and strengthening the organization’s talent and culture.
Autumn spent more than 16 years at Honeywell, holding multiple senior HR leadership roles across Torrance, Phoenix, Prague, and Charlotte. She made a significant impact in talent strategy, leadership development, organizational effectiveness, and global HR transformations.
Earlier in her career, she held leadership positions as HR Director at SpaceX, where she contributed to building people capabilities during a critical phase of growth, and as Director of Human Resources at Stanford University Graduate School of Business, where she strengthened people development and HR systems in an academic setting.
