LONDON, ENGLAND, UNITED KINGDOM, June 2026 — Aviva Investors has announced the appointment of Claire Mogford as Chief People Officer. Claire joins from Aviva’s Wealth business, where she most recently served as People Director – Wealth, bringing more than 17 years of experience across people partnering, reward, talent management, and strategic HR leadership roles. In her new position, she will lead the people strategy for Aviva Investors, supporting the organization’s talent, culture, leadership, and business transformation agenda.
Mogford has built her entire professional career within the Aviva Group, progressing through a series of increasingly senior people leadership roles. Most recently, she served as People Director – Wealth, where she was responsible for driving the people agenda across Aviva’s Wealth business. Prior to that, she held the position of Head of People – Wealth & Advice, partnering with business leaders to strengthen talent capability, organizational effectiveness, and workforce planning across the division.
Earlier, she served as Head of People – Corporate Functions, leading people strategy across key corporate functions and supporting organizational transformation initiatives. Before that, she was HR Business Partner – Global Finance, where she partnered with senior finance leaders to align people priorities with business objectives and drive talent and organizational development initiatives.
Earlier in her career, Mogford held several specialist reward and HR positions within Aviva, including Global Functions Reward Partner, Group Reward Consultant, HR Senior Reward Analyst, HR Reward Analyst, and HR Graduate, developing deep expertise in reward strategy, performance management, employee engagement, and organizational effectiveness.
Throughout her nearly two decades with Aviva, Mogford has established a reputation for combining strategic HR leadership with strong business partnership capabilities. Her experience spans multiple business units and functional areas, providing her with a comprehensive understanding of Aviva’s culture, people practices, and long-term strategic priorities.
In her new role, Mogford is expected to play a key role in strengthening Aviva Investors’ people strategy, enhancing leadership capability, supporting talent development, and fostering a high-performance culture that enables the organization to achieve its growth ambitions while continuing to deliver value for clients and stakeholders.
