Aygul Gurbanova Joins AZERA Holding as Chief Human Resources Officer

Aygul Gurbanova has recently assumed the position of Chief Human Resources Officer at AZERA Holding. Gurbanova brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her new role, directly contributing to the strategic direction and growth of the company’s human resources department.

Gurbanova’s professional journey is distinguished by a series of progressive roles in human resources management across various leading companies in Azerbaijan. Prior to joining AZERA Holding, she co-founded and served as a trainer at BIZ Training & Consulting, offering her expertise from December 2023 to the present.

Her significant tenure includes serving as the Human Resources and Admin Director at STP GLOBAL CABLE LLC from May 2021 to December 2023, where she was responsible for overseeing human resources and administrative functions. Following this, Gurbanova held the position of Human Resources Manager at Sumgait Technologies Park, demonstrating exceptional leadership and strategic planning abilities from January 2020 to February 2023.

Earlier in her career, Gurbanova made substantial contributions to Global Products Group (Gilan Agro&FMCG Group) and Retail Group Azerbaijan, holding the role of HR Manager at both establishments and accumulating valuable experience in handling all HR issues from April 2014 to December 2019. Her foundational roles in HR began at Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy and Baku Shipyard LLC, where she honed her skills in the legal aspects of HR administration, orientation and induction programs, and employee relations.

Cumulatively, Aygul Gurbanova possesses over a decade of experience in human resources management, showcasing her ability to adapt and thrive in various corporate environments. Her extensive background encompasses a broad spectrum of HR disciplines, including human capital management and executive development.
