Thane, Maharashtra, India, October 2025 — Balaji Madrewar has joined HTL Biopharma as Vice President – Projects, bringing with him nearly three decades of leadership experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, project execution, and operational excellence. In his new role, he will oversee strategic projects, optimize manufacturing capabilities, and strengthen compliance and quality frameworks across HTL Biopharma’s operations. His appointment underscores the company’s commitment to advancing innovation, efficiency, and excellence in pharmaceutical production.
Prior to joining HTL Biopharma, Balaji served as Project Incharge at Ipca Laboratories Limited, where he successfully led critical infrastructure development and expansion initiatives, ensuring operational scalability and adherence to global regulatory standards. His contributions were pivotal in driving modernization projects that enhanced productivity and compliance across facilities.
Previously, Balaji held senior leadership roles at Cipla Ltd. and Sentiss Pharma Pvt. Ltd., where he played a key role in advancing sterile formulation technologies and managing large-scale manufacturing operations in ophthalmic and respiratory product categories. His focus on automation, process optimization, and quality enhancement has been instrumental in positioning these organizations as leaders in their respective domains.
A Govt. Polytechnic, Nanded alumnus, Balaji began his career with FDC Ltd. and subsequently held progressive roles in Promed Exports Pvt. Ltd. (now part of Sentiss Pharma), where he developed strong expertise in sterile dosage manufacturing, plant operations, and project management. Known for his ability to lead complex, cross-functional teams, Balaji has built a reputation for delivering operational excellence through disciplined execution and innovative leadership.
