Hyderabad, Telangana, India, May 2026 — Bhavani Pandi has stepped into the role of Head of People & Culture – India at Mattel Inc., marking a significant leadership milestone in her accomplished human resources career and strengthening Mattel’s people strategy in one of its critical global markets.
In her new role, Bhavani will lead people and culture initiatives across Mattel India, focusing on organizational development, talent strategy, leadership hiring, employee engagement, HR transformation, and building a high-performance workplace aligned with Mattel’s global business vision.
Before joining Mattel Inc., Bhavani spent over six years at TriNet as Country People Partner, where she successfully established the HR function from the ground up for a SaaS-based HCM product organization in India. During her tenure, she designed scalable HR policies, led regional HR strategy, managed M&A due diligence, established a Global Capability Center, and drove workforce scaling with a strong focus on talent, culture, and operational excellence.
Earlier in her career, Bhavani held senior HR leadership roles at Genesys as Country Human Resources Leader, Cognizant Technology Solutions as Senior HR Partner, Bank of America Continuum India Services, Ma Foi Randstad, and also began her professional journey in technology and recruitment through Infosys and Collins Consulting Inc.
Her extensive cross-industry experience spanning HR transformation, global capability center scaling, leadership development, talent acquisition, and organizational culture positions her strongly to lead Mattel India’s people agenda.
