Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, June 2025 — Binita P. has been appointed as the Head of IT & Digital at Schindler India, effective May 2025. With close to 30 years of experience across the manufacturing and technology landscape, she steps into this leadership role with a clear mandate to spearhead digital transformation initiatives through AI/ML, IoT, and forward-looking IT strategies aimed at enhancing customer experience and operational efficiency.
Prior to joining Schindler India, Binita served as Head IT & Digital at Saint-Gobain (Grindwell Norton), where she played a critical role in aligning digital solutions with business priorities and driving sustainable transformation over a span of more than three years.
Earlier, she led IT operations at Sany Heavy Industry India Pvt. Ltd., where she was responsible for technology roadmaps, infrastructure modernization, and corporate governance. Her leadership in building a mobile-enabled enterprise and implementing robust IT controls was particularly noteworthy.
In her role as Principal Delivery Manager at Bristlecone (Mahindra Group), Binita managed major accounts such as Mercedes-Benz, Vedanta, USHA International, and Danone. Her work spanned SAP ECC, Siebel CRM, QlikView, and several automation initiatives across diverse sectors.
She began her career at JCB India Ltd., where over nearly 23 years, she rose through the ranks from SAP Technical Consultant to Senior Manager – IT, overseeing SAP ECC, Dealer Business Management, and large-scale integration projects.
An alumna of Delhi University, Binita holds a Master’s in Computer Applications (MCA) and has further honed her expertise with advanced certifications from IIT Kanpur and XLRI. Her appointment reflects Schindler India’s commitment to innovation, technology leadership, and creating a digitally enabled future.
