Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, February 2025 – Biswaroop Mukherjee has been appointed as the Vice President – People and Transformation at Aker Solutions, where he will lead the people strategy, transformation initiatives, and HR agenda for Aker in India.
Biswaroop brings over two decades of HR leadership experience across automotive, energy, pharmaceuticals, and consulting industries. Prior to joining Aker Solutions, he served as Head HR – Commercial Vehicle Business Unit at Tata Motors, leading the HR function for a $7 billion business unit across India and global subsidiaries. His role spanned operations, engineering, commercial, and product lines, driving HR initiatives for a large-scale workforce.
Before this, Biswaroop was HR Leader – Grid Solutions, Software Services, HVDC at GE Power, where he was responsible for HR strategy across South Asia, including EPC projects and compliance initiatives. Earlier in his career, he held several HR leadership positions at Tata Motors, managing international business HR functions, overseeing expat mobility, rewards, and talent management across multiple regions including Europe, South Asia, Middle East, Russia/CIS, and Africa. He has also worked in senior HR roles at Deloitte, Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, and ABP Network, focusing on talent acquisition, compensation, employee engagement, and leadership development.
With deep expertise in HR transformation, global mobility, organizational change management, and talent strategy, Biswaroop is well-positioned to drive Aker Solutions’ people and transformation initiatives in India as the company continues its growth and innovation in low-carbon energy solutions.
