San Francisco Bay Area, United States – October 2024 – Brad Bell has joined Qualys as the new Chief Information Officer (CIO). Brad will be leading the company’s IT strategy, overseeing digital transformation initiatives, and enhancing security measures for the global cybersecurity leader.
Prior to joining Qualys, Brad Bell served as SVP CITO/CISO at Infoblox, where he played a pivotal role in transitioning the company’s infrastructure to a SaaS model. His responsibilities included developing security protocols, achieving compliance certifications like FedRAMP and SOC2, and implementing cloud-based CI/CD pipelines. He was also instrumental in creating a robust customer experience program, establishing an India-based Center of Excellence, and transforming Infoblox’s IT infrastructure to improve operational efficiency.
Before his time at Infoblox, Brad held the position of VP Cloud/Infrastructure/Service Management/Support/Development at Microsoft. In this role, he managed a large-scale global organization, focusing on cloud infrastructure, service management, security, and application support. He successfully closed 30 data centers worldwide while driving innovation and scaling operations to support business growth.
Brad also served as Chief Information Officer at Sonos, Inc., where he was responsible for the company’s worldwide IT operations. He led initiatives in data center and cloud strategies, security policy development, global ERP and CRM implementations, and product lifecycle automation. His strategic efforts contributed significantly to the company’s digital transformation.
Earlier in his career, Brad was VP of Worldwide IT, Service & Support at Cisco/WebEx, where he managed customer success, service automation, and cloud partner enablement globally. His leadership ensured effective service delivery, advanced support capabilities, and streamlined customer engagement.
