New Britain, Connecticut, United States, November 2025 — Brandy Race has been appointed as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at Fencing Supply Group (FSG). In her new role, Brandy will lead the company’s HR strategy, focusing on organizational design, talent development, employee engagement, and culture transformation. Her leadership will play a critical role in supporting FSG’s growth journey across North America’s leading platform of fencing distribution and manufacturing businesses.
Before joining Fencing Supply Group, Brandy Race spent over five years at Stanley Black & Decker, Inc., where she most recently served as Vice President, Human Resources – Global Supply Chain. She spearheaded global HR strategy for manufacturing, distribution, and supply chain operations, overseeing more than 48,000 employees worldwide. Brandy led the “Evolve the Employee Experience” program, a flagship initiative designed to enhance workforce engagement and leadership development. She also drove a global organizational redesign to standardize structures and enable scalable growth, alongside managing mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, and large-scale transformation programs.
Earlier at Stanley Black & Decker, she served as Vice President, Human Resources – Global Supply Chain, Tools & Outdoor, leading HR operations for 30,000+ employees and guiding rapid workforce expansion during record-breaking growth periods. Her strategic initiatives included building a Positive Employee Relations Council, leading large-scale hiring drives, and integrating over 9,000 employees post-acquisition from MTD, Excel Industries, and Compass.
Prior to that, Brandy was Senior Human Resources Director at Stanley Engineered Fastening, where she led HR transformation efforts for a global workforce of over 5,000 employees. She played a key role in labor negotiations, implemented lean HR methodologies, and restructured the HR function to enhance career progression and organizational efficiency.
Before joining Stanley Black & Decker, Brandy spent several years at GE Lighting and GE Current, where she led HR strategy across Supply Chain, Technology, and Product Management functions. She guided global HR operations for over 5,000 employees, managed major restructuring initiatives, and facilitated M&A transitions across 23 countries. Her earlier career includes significant leadership roles in labor relations, union negotiations, and HR operations at Dana Incorporated, where she started as an HR Intern and grew through multiple managerial positions.
Brandy Race holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Leadership from The University of Findlay, where she developed a strong foundation in strategic management and organizational behavior.
