Launceston, Tasmania, Australia, August 2025 – Candida Davey has been appointed as Chief People Officer at St Lukes, marking a new chapter in her nearly 24-year journey with the organisation. In her new role, Davey will oversee people strategy, employee engagement, and organisational culture as St Lukes continues its mission to make Tasmania the healthiest island on the planet.
Davey has been with St Lukes for over two decades, steadily rising through leadership roles in HR, people, and organisational development. Most recently, she served as Head of People and Culture, where she strengthened employee engagement, workforce development, and cultural transformation initiatives.
Earlier, she held roles including Manager of Learning and Development, People Capability Manager, Learning and Development Manager, Learning and Development Coordinator, and Training Officer, where she focused on leadership development, organisational learning, and employee growth. Davey also built a strong foundation during her long tenure as an Analyst at St LukesHealth, where she gained deep operational insight into the business.
Her extensive experience spans employee engagement, learning and development, remuneration, and organisational culture — skills that will now support her leadership as Chief People Officer.
