CHC ENERGÍA has announced the promotion of Carlos Gonzalez Molinos to the position of CFO and Director of Corporate Services.
In his new role, Gonzalez Molinos will extend his responsibilities to include Human Resources, Procurement, and General Services in addition to his existing CFO duties. This enhancement underscores his pivotal contribution to the company and his capacity to drive CHC ENERGÍA’s financial and operational strategy forward.
With an impressive tenure of just over seven months at CHC ENERGÍA, Gonzalez Molinos has already made significant strides in positioning the company for sustained financial health and strategic growth. Before stepping into his expanded role, he served as the Chief Financial Officer, where he was responsible for overseeing the Treasury, Finance, Accounting, and Tax functions. His leadership in these areas has been instrumental in steering the company through complex financial landscapes and setting the stage for its current and future success.
Prior to joining CHC ENERGÍA, Gonzalez Molinos amassed over 18 years of experience at Repsol, where he demonstrated exceptional skill in managing financial risks, derivatives valuation, liquidity control, and treasury operations. His tenure at Repsol culminated in the role of Middle Office Senior Manager in the Division of Finance, where he led a team dedicated to managing the financial operations of the Repsol group.
Gonzalez Molinos’s extensive background in finance and treasury management, particularly in the energy sector, equips him with a unique perspective and expertise that will be invaluable in his new, broader role at CHC ENERGÍA.
