In his new role, Carlos will oversee the organization’s human resources strategy and lead efforts to foster a workplace culture rooted in excellence, integrity, and equity. As part of the senior leadership team, he will play a pivotal role in advancing Whitman-Walker’s mission of inclusion and community wellness.
Carlos joins Whitman-Walker after an impressive tenure of nearly a decade at Mary’s Center, where he held various leadership roles, including Executive Vice President of Administration and Chief People Officer. His contributions included driving innovative HR strategies, enhancing talent management frameworks, and promoting organizational growth.
Earlier, Carlos honed his expertise at SHRM, serving as Manager of Educational Programs and Program Manager for Conferences, where he facilitated professional development initiatives for HR professionals. His HR leadership journey began at PRO-telligent, LLC, where he excelled as an International HR Manager, and at NRI, Inc., where he worked as a Recruiter.
