Mexico City, Mexico, March 2025 – Carolina Vargas has joined Cashea as Head of People, bringing over a decade of HR leadership experience across fintech and technology-driven organizations. In this role, she will be responsible for leading talent management, workforce strategy, and employee engagement to support Cashea’s rapid growth in the buy-now, pay-later (BNPL) sector.
Prior to joining Cashea, Vargas served as Head of People at Addi, where she played a crucial role in shaping HR strategies, scaling talent acquisition, and fostering an inclusive culture within the fintech space. Before that, she was People Director at Tangelo, where she led organizational development, change management, and compensation planning in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
Earlier in her career, Vargas spent over four years at Zinobe, where she led talent acquisition, performance management, and HR transformation as Head of People. Under her leadership, the company saw a fourfold increase in headcount, improved employee NPS, and implemented innovative training programs. She also held HR leadership roles at Laboratorios Legrand S.A. and Grupo Contempo, focusing on compensation strategy, workforce planning, and employee development.
