Shelton, Washington, United States, August 2024 – Carolyn McCain has taken on the role of Chief Human Resource Officer at Mason Health. In this position, Carolyn will oversee all human resources functions, including strategic planning, project management, leadership development, and employee relations, contributing to the overall growth and development of Mason Health.
Carolyn McCain joins Mason Health after serving as the Chief Human Resource Officer at Curry Health Network for nearly 8 years. During her tenure, she was instrumental in strategic planning, compensation and benefits management, employee relations investigations, performance management, and training and development, significantly enhancing HR operations.
Prior to Curry Health Network, Carolyn was the Director of Human Resources at Ernest Health for over 2 years. In this role, she managed HR functions and initiatives, fostering a positive work environment and ensuring effective HR practices in Johnstown, Colorado.
Carolyn also held the position of Division Director of Human Resources at Covenant Dove, LLC for 1 year. Here, she supported multiple locations across several states, providing HR leadership and guidance to ensure compliance and effective HR operations.
Her earlier career includes roles such as Division HR Manager/Region Business Partner at Apria Healthcare and Consultant, Business Partner, HR Manager at Cardinal Health. She has also worked in equal opportunity, policy development, and analysis at Wayne State University, and served as a Benefits Administrator at Minacs Marketing Solutions.
