Montréal, Québec, Canada, May 2025 – Chantal Poitras has been appointed as Head of People & Culture, Americas at Siemens Healthineers, marking a significant new chapter in her distinguished HR leadership career. In her new role, she will lead the people and culture strategy across the Americas region, focusing on organizational effectiveness, leadership development, talent acquisition, and fostering an inclusive workplace that aligns with Siemens Healthineers’ purpose of pioneering breakthroughs in healthcare.
Prior to this, Chantal served as Cheffe mondiale attraction et acquisition des talents at AtkinsRéalis, where she was responsible for leading global talent acquisition strategies and ensuring robust pipelines of skilled professionals to support the company’s growth across diverse markets. Her work emphasized strategic workforce planning, diversity, and employer branding at a global scale.
She previously held multiple executive HR roles over a decade at SNC-Lavalin, including Senior Vice President – Human Resources for Canada, Latin America and Romania, and for Mines & Metallurgy and Corporate Functions. She led regional HR operations, organizational transformations, and talent strategies, helping align business and people goals during complex structural transitions.
Earlier in her career, Chantal spent nearly six years with Rio Tinto, where she held positions including Chef de service, Ressources humaines, Talent Management Coordinator for North America, and HR leadership roles for major capital projects in British Columbia and Québec. Her deep industry exposure across mining, engineering, and infrastructure sectors prepared her for leading people functions in complex, multinational environments.
